Hornet & Wasp Control
Hornets and Wasps are plentiful in Georgia from Spring to Fall. While they are beneficial to the environment, if they build a hive on your property they can be a real nuisance and even potentially dangerous if anyone is allergic. In this case, the best solution is our hive removal service. Wasps and hornet hives start out with an individual queen or foundress and in a short time create the first wave of workers and things accelerate from there! Our pest control service can take care of any nuisance insect and in particular, our hive removal process is quick and effective! Our pest control service area in North Georgia extends as far south as Alpharetta, Crabapple, Duluth, Johns Creek, Marietta, Milton, Roswell, and Suwanee then going as far north as Ball Ground, Blue Ridge, Cumming, Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Ellijay, Gainesville, and Jasper. If you are outside of these areas for our pest control get in touch with us! We make exceptions all the time!
We Hear You
You need someone that listens to you and identifies every issue possible. That knows to ask the right questions and document your concerns. Not only do we want to solve your current problem with your pest, but we also want to solve and prevent your issues with any other potential nuisance.
Inspection
You need a thorough inspection from ‘Top to Bottom, Inside and Out’. For most home and property owners, it is impossible to be aware of everything that is going on all the time. So WE are your eyes and ears, from creepy crawlspaces to ominous attics! We travel where you would rather not to get the ‘big picture’.
The Plan
Afterward, you need a plan. To understand what exactly is going on, why it is happening, what can be done about it and most importantly, how to prevent any such issue in the future. Clear communication as to what results can be delivered and when to expect them.
The Treatment
Finally, you need your problems solved effectively and efficiently. We use every tool at our disposal to ensure this. This means not relying only on our chemical products but also using traps, repellents, bait, habitat modification, and exclusion recommendations.
OUR AFFORDABLE BI-ANNUAL INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
When it comes to household pest control services the usual options people have to choose between are Monthly, Bi-Monthly (Once every other month), and Quarterly (Once every three months) service intervals. Monthly is the most expensive program providing the greatest of control, with the cost and effectiveness being reduced with the Bi-Monthly and Quarterly choices. However, there is another option that we specialize in that is the best when it comes to balancing effectiveness and cost and that is our Bi-Annual Pest Control Service.
With our Bi-Annual Pest Control Service, we have had to study extensively and train ourselves with the longest-lasting non-repellent, most effective, and most expensive products on the market. The way we balance that cost is with the need to only stop by twice a year to reassess and reapply our products. This saves you, and us, a lot of time and money due to the reduced need for extra visits and the lifespan and effectiveness of our products that we use.
These are the most common species we deal with. An important difference in our approach is with the honeybee. With this important pollinator we remove the hive intact, transport and donate the hive to a local beekeeper.
Bald-faced Hornets – They are large, black and white flying insects. Their hives are typically a light gray-brown, irregular sphere shape and can be attached to a tree limb or the side of a structure. When they are on a tree or within a bush the hive can blend in really well, with the only visual cue being the activity of the insects themselves giving away the location of the hive. If their flight path or their hive is disturbed they can be very aggressive.
Yellowjackets – These are small, black & yellow wasps that typically prefer to create their hive underground, where they come and go through one or more tunnels from this hive. Often become agitated by yard equipment or activity near the entrances/exits of their hive.
Honeybees – Lovely to have in the environment, but they can be a nightmare if they take up residence within your structure. This is partly due to the fact the honeybee hive will continue to grow in size, and the population of the bees until they are removed. Also, the volume of bees and the wax & honey from the comb make their removal and relocation challenging.
